Since Maho and planes have been mentioned recently, I thought I would post these photos next.

Last morning in SXM, watching the rain approach from Saba before the maddening crowds arrived.

The odd time I join hubby and take pictures of the planes landing and taking off, but never do anything with them. I’m making an exception here.

Air France readying for take-off

And there they go

One of the favourite planes landing at SXM nowadays

Why doesn’t WestJet use this plane when I fly to SXM?

Nikon D7100. I have 2 lenses - 80-140 mm and 70-300mm.

I have the same camera and very happy with the results. However, most often I use a small canon that fits in my purse when travelling as it just makes it easier and the results are very good as well.

Great pics....

Re: pocket camera. I have a great small Canon pocket job but I find the shutter delay a bit problematic when shooting a plane zooming by me. I usually defer to my Canon S70 on burst

yea....the waves are beautiful.....but obviously reeking havoc on the poor beach. i hope things change there real soon.....since we will be there a week from tomorrow for our three weeks at Royal Islander. Can't wait.....but do hope that there will be a decent beach there when we arrive.
