Does anyone have some information they could give me on the trips to Prickly Pear, Anguilla etc. Have looked at the website but not sure where they leave from and if booking online is a good idea. Thank you!!!

Booking online through AquaMania is fine, have done it many times. The cruise likely leaves from AquaMania and they are located at the Simpson Bay Resorts/Pelican. I can not tell you about those tours in particular but I have done many other trips with AquaMania on the Tango and Lambada.

I did 3 trips with them over the past 2 weeks and booked the Regatta cruise online back in January. They will likely charge a small fee (or possibly just $1) for using a credit card. Another option is to wait until you are there and book in person and pay cash but you run the risk of the trip being sold out.

They charge 5% to use a credit card.

Not always. The charge when I booked 4 people for the Tango for Regatta was a total of $1. I then booked two trips on Lambada for a Sunset Cruise and was not charged any fee. On the 2nd booking they mentioned the 5% fee but then waived it due to the cruise and where we were staying. Another friend has 9 people staying at Royal Palm on tonight and was not charged 5% for using a credit card.

I think it depends on the trip, the agent and how you approach the situation. Trust me, I was not charged 5% and did 3 bookings.

Hi, we are looking for a sunset cruise. How is the Lombada cruise. Would you recommend it?

It is good. If staying at Royal Palm or Flamingo there is a special cruise and can be booked through the property. If not staying at either of those places, you would need to book direct with AquaMania.

Most sunset cruises last about 90 minutes, include drinks and you may or may not see a sunset. It all depends on the weather/clouds.

Excellent, sounds great, thanks! We are not staying at those places, and will probably try and book something once we are there, if its available.

If you are referring to the Monday night special cruise for those resorts it is no longer booked through the Flamingo resort as they as of last May weren't affiliated with Aqua Mania. I believe it is also the situation with Royal Palm. They still had the special cruise on Monday but you booked it directly with Aqua Mania at the same special price. Same cruise as their regular priced one with out the snack food included. We always bring great snacks and share with the crew.

No. I booked with the activity desk at Royal Palm for one of the Monday Sunset cruises and the other I booked at Aqua Mania. My friend who is on Lambada now booked for 9 people at the activity desk at Royal Palm. Trust me, I spent 14 nights over the past two weeks at Royal Palm and it is not my first rodeo. Any of the Monday cruises I have been on (both Tango and Lambada) never included snacks.

What happened last May just might not be the current situation.

That's good. Last May the Flamingo was not booking any of the Monday night special cruises as they were affiliated with a different excursion company. They sent us over to Aqua Mania to book directly with them which is great for me as I do all my dives and trips through them anyway.
"Any of the Monday cruises I have been on (both Tango and Lambada) never included snacks." That is exactly what I said and is why we bring our own.

It seems to change a lot with Royal Palm and Flamingo. You can do it for free it you want to waste 2+ hours doing a timeshare presentation.

That is the way it was two years ago at Flamingo. This last year it was not an option. Just a $100 debit card for the owners update/timeshare presentation. Takes me 20 minutes and I'm out the door with $100. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" />
