This is where I have been getting vanilla beans from lately...
I usually get Mexican Vanilla Beans (25 pods for about $30), as they are, or have been told, are the most flavorful, and largest...
Great for makinng Banana Vanilla Rum!
Arizona Vanilla Company
a LOT better than spending $10 for a McCormick Vanilla Bean jar for $10 (about 3-4 half beans)...

Thanks, Brian! Love the flavor that vanilla beans brings to a recipe. I'll have to remember this the next time I need to order vanilla beans!

Brian,
Best vanilla beans I ever got were in the market in Papeete in Tahiti!

Made screaming creme Anglais and ultimately Vanilla Ice Cream.
Cheers
