The holding is over sand. Lots of people anchor there. Some have experience being there in a squall and say it's not pleasant. Suzkoop, use the search feature. This has been discussed before. ligot Traveler Joined: Aug 2014 Posts: 229 West Chester, PA	Hi Suz, we've anchored there. We were chartered on a 44' Lagoon and joined a crusing couple in 42' c&c. Late April and very calm. I'd say it's very condition dependent but in calm conditions has great holding. You may also find your charter company may X it out. Most do not let you anchor there. S/V Tortuga Lagoon 46
