We are returning this June after last year in Croatia. Anyone have planned trips in late June? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />

I'm mid-June. Arrive the 10th. 7 nights on Fly Away, a Lagoon 450

I spent all my money on "Boats", "Broads", and "Booze"; the rest I wasted!

We will be there 6/24-7/1. Can't wait!!!

Our very rough plan is to sleep aboard at Moorings on 6/24 then:
Norman
Cooper
Bitter End
Anegada
Leverick
Final night at dock at Moorings
Return home 7/1.

We are two couples in our mid-to-late 40's and a 6 year old on a Moorings 3900. If your schedule overlaps lets have a Painkiller together!

We will be a flotilla of 2 Moorings 4000 June 21st - June 29. Total of 9 adults and 5 kids (13-10 years of age) Nothing formalized yet but thinking

Peter Island Day 1 - June 22
slip at Leverick for Friday Night BBQ - June 23
Marina Cay - June 24
Anegada June - 25
and then.... we will see
Probably spend two days on JVD one night at Great Harbour lounging at white bay and one night in Little Harbour at Sydney's but this part of itinerary is up in the air as well as last stops.

Good luck in June.
Were you sailing in Croatia? It is on our bucket list.
Would love to hear about the trip?

My crew of 10 will also be at Leverick for the 23rd. We'll be on Fin and Tonic, a Lagoon 450, from June 17 to 27. We plan on going clockwise this trip, starting at Jost and ending at Norman. We have four kids, age 7 to 15. We would love to meet up!

We'll be on Seven Winds - A Lagoon 450. Will be my wife and myself, our son and his three friends who are all 15 years old. Just listen for the crappy rap music and that will probably be us (don't worry though - we'll keep the volume low at anchor and I'll try to get them to play more pleasant music sometimes). We'll also probably be kiteboarding whenever we are able to. Plan on being in the BVIs ~June 23-28 and in the USVI and SVI the rest of the time. It's going to be a bit of a whirlwind for us this trip.

Hello Hanson - I'm curious where you are planning to kite? I'm an avid kiter, though only in the sport for 3 years now and never in BVI or USVI. I'll be cruising aboard 40' cat (just my family of 3) for 8 weeks starting and ending in Tortola including ending overlap exactly when you're there. Frankly, we'll be spending limited time (probably only 4 days on front and maybe 3 on back) in BVI's before leaving to the rest of Leeward Islands, but Anegada is the one place I'm definitely going to spend time in while there and plan to kite if winds available. Curious if you're bringing gear as I am? Happy to take this offline.

We are going to bring kite gear with us. There have been too many charters where I didn't bring it and wished I'd had it. As far as locations, the north shore of Anegada is a popular spot, but just west of the anchorage looks good as well. The north-sound between virgin gorda and necker island is also very popular. Sandy and Green Cay are ideal as well with plenty of room to rig and launch. Other than that we intend to drift launch from the boat and maybe trail a line off the stern that we can grab when returning.

You have probably researched some off the Leeward options but don't miss kiting in Nonsuch Bay, Antigua and off the beach of Barbuda. Make sure to have a chase boat in Barbuda as it is an offshore wind with a shadow close to shore - but other than that it is incredibly good. We weren't able to kite in St. Martin but I've heard the east coast is good.

Have fun. Maybe we'll cross paths - but hopefully not kite lines.
