With all due respect to 'Sarah' this has been proposed and discussed about a gazillion times. Methinks it's time to stop talking and start doing. This is but one very small step in the overall solution but it's a start that needed doing years ago for the overall benefit of the island as a whole as well as the dump and the environment in general. That's exactly what I'm afraid of since it's certainly not the first time this has been proposed. I know it would cause a hardship for many businesses like the take out food industry for starters, but c'mon - even as a visitor, I keep my grocery bag in my rental car for the duration of every trip, and this after having the bulk of our groceries delivered by Jeannie.
They have to start somewhere........ Actually, the problem is more like they have to start something - yesterday!
