Changes do occur in scheduling and arrival times, etc., all the time. Now, for the very first time in all of our many trips to de ilon's we may find ourselves on a ferry from Charlotte Amalie to Roadtown that makes a stop first in the West End, then on to Roadtown. So, the question is, do we get off the ferry at the West End terminal and clear C&I there, then get back on for the ride to Roadtown, or do we stay onboard and clear at C&I in Roadtown? We are a week out and already packed... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

You stay on and clear in at Road Town.

Would there be any advantage of getting off at West End assuming you had a ride and about 3 hours to kill before getting a boat in Road Town?

With time to kill and a ride..definitely. Head over Zion Hill and stop somewhere for cold ones and maybe food...I'd recommend the Sugar Mill Beach Bar,.take the north shore road ..maybe stop at Myett's or Tony's..and then over Joe's Hill to town..nice..
