We flew American A to San Juan and then Cape Air to Tortola. Always do that and never had a problem. This time we checked 3 bags and they EACH arrived on different planes. 2 on CA and 1 on Seaborne. No worries, CA brought them to TMM that night. We did a sleep aboard, met up with our kids that ferried over from STT (they had a very pleasant first trip on the ferry, Native Son). We ate dinner at Sharkeys, ok food but it took 90 minutes for our food. Crazy!!
Riteway and Caribbean Cellars delivered on time and most was included.
TMM is a first class charter company. We really enjoy them and the dock. Joyce arrived at our boat early and had flowers for me! Then brought us all the best Jamaican coffee. She's a sweetheart.
We chartered Cool Change, a Lagoon 450. We had the boat 18 months ago when it was brand new. TMM has maintained her very well.
We spent the first night on Great Harbor, Peter, on a ball. It was about 1/2 full. Love that harbor, always our favorite first and most times last night.
The next day we sailed to Norman and did a pub crawl. Pirates is so nice but $$$. And yes, they included gratuity. Willie T's was in rare form. Yes, we all jumped off the deck, some many, many times. Yes, the tattoos were slapped on!! Made it to Cane Garden the next night and it was beautiful as always. Sailed the whole day today. Perfect day (we did stop at Soggy for refreshments!). Moored at Guyana tonight. Mostly full and quiet! So far the weather is perfect. It rained about 5 this morning which I love to hear while sleeping.

Glad to hear the boat is in great shape... but it is what we have come to expect from TMM. So looking forward to picking up Cool Change Saturday (first night sleep aboard also). We have never stayed in Great Harbor, though we have anchored in Dead Man's Bay... something to consider this go around.

We have been in Anegada for the last 2 days. Headed to CGB this morning. First 2 days winds were too light to sail but on Sunday they picked up nicely and enjoyed a 8-9 knots SOG trip up to Anegada. Winds are forecast for the same today. Great weather... ready to set sail !!

Does anyone else moor at Great Harbor on Peter and walk over into the spa? We've done that a number of time for hiking up the hill (haven't made sunset yet but maybe in a 3 weeks), shopping or drinks on Deadman's Bay.

Always wondered if that's frowned upon by the resort.

We saw people walking over the hill when we were mooored at the resort. My thought it that as long as you're not taking up guest resources (towels, chairs, etc) why would they care? I'd think they'd welcome you - you're spending top $$ for food, drink and spa treatments.

Yes, we have done the "commute" over from Great Harbour more than once. We just head directly to the beach at Deadman's when we do since unless you are in a slip or on a mooring ball in Sprat, you are not welcome at the pool or in the marina showers, etc. Easier to anchor in Deadman's but Great Harbour works just fine. I am sure you could still make an appointment at the spa - I've heard varying reports as to whether or not the treatments are worth the cost.

As for the spa, 2 of our crewmates had massages. At $195/hr I skipped it and napped instead. They didn't say they were the *best* they'd ever had but they enjoyed them. Interestingly, the shower/changing rooms at the spa are NOT air conditioned.
