We were there on a Sunday last summer with my, at the time, 7 year old. You're right, kids WILL want to go see the pirate ship. We did a flyby in the dinghy in the afternoon and since it was almost vacant we stopped and had s few drinks. No problem whatsoever. Plan on an afternoon visit, be flexible and you will be fine.

If there are lot of dingy s there its probably going to be on the tamer side on a Sunday. If there are a lot of go fast boats it's probably going to be a little more on the wild side.
