I did a search and didn't find anything. I must have not done it properly because I know I've seen something on here about restaurants in Grand Case. I do have a question that if anyone would answer with just a short answer that would be great.
If you could eat at only 1 or 2 restaurants in Grand Case, what would they be? Thanks.

Depending on my tastes, and sticking to Grand Case only:

For creole food--Le Ti Coin Creole or Villa Royale (far better than the lolos, IMO)

For French food--L'Auberge Gourmand or Bistrot Caraibes.

It's funny all other years I would said other places, but this year our favorites were Spiga and LeSoleil, they were great!

Thanks so much. This is kind of cool to see your responses. We have not eaten in Grand Case enough to know what's good. We have eaten at Piazza Pascal and Bistro Caraibes but that is all. We liked both very well. Now, I'm going to try a couple of the top ones that you suggested and see. Thanks again for taking time out of your busy day to help me out.

We don't get into Grand Case that much these days but I will agree, Spiga is one favorite and on another note, we also thoroughly enjoy the restaurant at Grand Case Beach Club though not as upscale as many, but you can't beat their sunsets. We are still trying to get to Ocean 82 but somehow we never quite seem to make it.

Respectfully,

pat

Bistro Caribes has been our #1 for maybe 20 years.... As for the second favorite we like a number but Villa Royale has recently become a favorite.

One other hint for getting supurb service wherever you dine anywhere in Grand Case... When you enter any restaurant, please engage in polite pleasentries with the staff before "getting down to business"... In France, it is considered very polite to do so.

And rude to not...

If you can drag up a few polite greetings from your high school French classes all the better, lol.

A few pleasentries upon arrival = wonderful service and a great dinner...

Just a hint from an old timer...😃

We ate at L'Auberge Gourmande and it was very nice meal. I do have a question about the tipping there though. On the menu or the receipt it said the gratuity is not added. What are they trying to say? Did I read that wrong?

We love Villa Royale. L'Auberge Gourmand. Calmos Café is a great fun spot.

Does anyone know if there is a way that after a day at Orient Beach a person can shower someplace around there instead of going all the way back to OBBR and then back to Grand Case for an evening meal?? Thanks.

When you say Orient Beach, do you mean at Club Orient, or at one of the other beach bars along Orient Beach? All of the larger beach bars have showers, but they're designed more to rinse the salt and sand off than they are to get cleaned up for dinner at a nice restaurant. I've not used the showers at Club O that Carol mentioned, so I don't know if those are different.

There is no charge for the showers by the guard shack. They are open air showers, have used them many times after a day at the beach.

Any place on Orient Beach but last time we were at Pedro's and really like the location so maybe we'll go back there.
