So: Even if you only drink bottled water from the grocery stores on island, you still need to use the water to wash dishes in the dishwasher or by hand, and to brush your teeth and shower. YIKES !!!! Well, I guess you could brush your teeth with bottled water, also, and just be careful not to get any water in your eyes upon showering.

Drank the water for four weeks at the Flamingo and always had tap water at every restaurant that would serve it and I nor my wife and guests had any ill effects. Just got back a week ago and still no problems.

We have been drinking tap water from our SXM hotel for at least 15 years and never had any problems. Those restaurants that won't serve you free tap water like TOPPERS but happy to over charge you for a $8.00 small bottle of water will be happy to hear this new. I actually like the tap water. I not gonna worry about it.
