There is a little hut at Happy bay that i believe serves beer and drinks, but not food. I did not get anything from them so not sure. Someone that has will chime in i'm sure.

I've never been, but I thought there was someone named Danny who sold food & drinks.

He's not much of a sales person. No sign. No pricelist. No real indication that he is even open for business. Not your go getter like Dany at Cupecoy.

If he is there, just ask him if he has what you want.. a coke, a beer.

Hubby and I were there several times last week in May. His price differs from day to day. Danny is very nice and we like to buy stuff from him to keep his enterprise going. I feel like the area is safer and cleaner with him there. We have ate his rib plate many times and its ok. He cooks ribs over sticks that he gathers in the morning. He told us once that his aunt fixed his potato salad and rice. The price might be $8 or may be $15. Hubby says it depends on how business is going.

If you go take small bills because he never has change but drinks are cold and maybe $1 or $3. But it is worth it to have the area safe. We always take cooler in case Dany doesn't have any diet drinks but if he does we will buy from him. Go and enjoy.

We really like Danny on happy Bay! We always like to support him by ordering lunch from him. That said, we do bring our own cooler with beers. Sometimes we have purchased drinks from him and sometimes we have shared ours with him. we always either split a meal or each get one. Sometimes the price has varied but we think he is fair and reasonable and his food is good! You have to let him know early that you want him to cook as once his coals are gone, that's it. We've seen him get angry when people have ordered at noon, which is when his food is ready to be picked up. If you want fish for a special order, request it two days in advance. We did this once and it was a thrill! He works very hard every morning to clean up the beach and for those of us that prefer sans clothes, he says he supports this because it brings tourists that support him, while local families often bring their own food and beverages. Enjoy! Can't wait to be back at our happy spot ourselves!
