Hmmmm. China wants to build a hotel and many apartments by Belair. China wants to build the tunnel and retain rights to fees for the construction of it. China wants to now build a conference center somewhere else. Sounds like China could be about to own this corner of the Caribbean.

Maybe as part of their deal China can fix up and maintain the Mullet Property and Golf Course.

There was recent chatter on Facebook about the China folks purchasing the Mullett land. There didn't seem to be any substantiation for that rumor.

There was an article in the Daily Herald stating that they were looking at locating there.

Belair and Divi folks will be watching for how all this evolves. The impact to Little Bay area looks like it may be a lot less than the original plan. As with so many things we can hope for the best and attempt to prepare for the worst.

St. Confucius? Maybe we'll need a re-naming contest....
