Along with a few other TTOL members, John and I were able to Travel to New Hampshire to pay our final respects to Sandy and to personally offer our sincere condolences to Bill.

He is not a TTOL member and doesn't know Sandy's TTOL password so he has asked me to offer his sincere thanks to all the TTOLers and the St. Maarten friends who reached out to offer their thoughts, prayers and remembrances.

Unfortunately, the website for the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home was down most of last week but is up now, more or less, for those who would like to see it. Bill chose not to do a written obituary for her but chose to share her life and memory in photos instead. The pictures of Sandy cover a lot of ground and are quite lovely.

I'm including the new link and if you click on Sandra Ruth Gagnon under the obituary heading you can access the photo gallery of Sandy's life from childhood and on to her wedding and many of her St. Maarten vacations, among others. The website still isn't perfect but the pictures are quite a lovely reminder of Sandy and sandyandbill. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Hi. Pat asked me to put this in People Talk, where she intended to place it originally. Rest in peace, Sandy.

Thank you Pat for your support. Sandy will be missed but not forgotten. We enjoyed your company. You had a long ride.

Bob (& Dot)

By the way, how did you guys make out with the class reunion?

Sandy was something else and for sure, unforgettable, so there was no way we could have NOT gone and paid our final respects to her. She amazed me that with all she was dealing with health wise, she never lost her sense of humor and could still make a joke of her situation to make us feel better about her. That sentence isn't great but I think you know what I mean.

We made much better time going home - four hours with a quick stop for breakfast at Mickey D's and to fill the gas tank when we hit the Mass Pike. Bill called me today and he seems to be holding up as well as one might expect. I think she suffered so much more than we will ever know and as heart-broken as he is without her, it's a relief for him not to see her suffering any longer.

No problem with the reunion people. By the time we left you and grabbed a late light dinner we were so tired my glass of wine with dinner was all I needed to take me straight to lalaland.

It was nice seeing you both and particularly so since we will be missing you in both November and April's up-coming trips. I hope and trust you had no issues going home either. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
