We have been visiting the island for 15 years. We are retiring at the end of the year and are fortunate enough to be able to spend two months on the island. With that in mind, we are shopping for a rental car company. We prefer a hatchback. And we want a rental car with French plates. And we will be going in high season.

We have rented cars from Kenny's, Unity, and Empress. We noticed that the sponsor's page now lists NextLevel Car Rental and they have very competitive rates and they offer a senior discount. Does anyone have any experience either good or bad with this company? Thanks in advance.

No experience with a two month rental. But if you are planning on your CC to cover the damage waiver you better check you rules as most, I believe, will not cover for 60 days straight.

We've rented from Next Level since they opened (2 years ago). This is a great outfit- love the senior discount and spouse can drive for no extra charge. Friendly and helpful staff. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

When we would stay for a month, I would split the charges onto 2 cards to make sure I didn't go over the time limits.

Doing two different car rental durations with separate reservation numbers would take care of that.
Or use different cc for each reservation.

Yes, do 2 separate reservations and charge to 2 different cards. On our claim, we had to send in both the original contract and the final billing to ensure that the same credit card was in force for the duration of the contract.
