We just returned from 2 1/2 weeks in the ILONS and thought I would just give a quick update before doing a full trip report.
Nick has done an outstanding job at Leverick bay. The best it has looked in my 20+ years of visiting. Michael Beans venue and stage is just the right touch for his show, much better than marina Cay. Eric Stone does a great job at Marina Cay, lots of dancing and good times. He does a great job of playing exactly what the crowd wants to hear.
Anegadas new dock are great and the food, as always was great. Why is it the locals there are more friendly than on Virgin gorda or Tortola? Cruise ships in White Bay are making it over crowded, Plan your trip when they are not there.
Winds were great the whole time 15-20, but as a result snorkeling wasn't as good.
CYOA again provided great service and a flawless charter cat.
Scariest thing we saw was 2 couples after spending afternoon at the Willie T come back to their charter boat. 1 guy was so drunk he could not stand. Wife kept beating and kicking him to get out of the dingy. When he finally did he fell in. Thank goodness Deliverence boat was in the area and the guy from Deliverence jumped in and pulled him out. I am always amazed at stupidity.
