From Ballerina:

Dear Customers and Friends,

This is a message from your family and friendly Jeweler in st. Maarten - "Ballerina Jewelers"
You must be aware of the Hurricane Irma that struck our friendly island last week! It has caused this island major damage and we are all working together shoulders to shoulder to bounce back up from this aftermath!!
We apologize that we have not been able to be in touch with any of you since the time this storm hit us as we have no internet connectivity and telephones!
Stores have not been allowed to open yet but soon we will be hopefully getting back on our feet and will email you once we open back.
Meanwhile, we would like to convey our message to you that all our family, staff and co workers are fine and are looking forward to be back as soon as possible to do what we do the best!!

Despite the Chaos and the destruction, we are hopeful and positive about the future. We have a Foundation that will not be shaken!

From the bottom of hearts, We truly appreciate and thank everyone for praying for us.

Sincerely,
Ballerina Team

Thank You from Grand Jewelers

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of concern and good wishes we have received over the past week from all of our loyal customers all over the world. Hurricane Irma has been devastating for those of us that live and work on the islands, and continues to present challenges as we begin the long process of rebuilding. Thankfully the staff and families of Grand Jewelers in St. Thomas and St. Maarten are all safe and accounted for, and we want to sincerely thank you for all of the individual messages, posts, calls and emails we have received.

Many organizations are working to support those that have been so horribly affected by Hurricane Irma through charitable donations, providing supplies and helping evacuate those in need, and we know many of you have already given generously to help -- we cannot thank you enough for your efforts.

We will continue to share updates as often as we are able to, and will do our best to respond to any inquiries and messages we are receiving at this time. We appreciate your kindness and patience as we work hard to bring the island back to its feet.

Sincerely,

Navin Sakhrani and the Grand Jewelers Family

From Majesty Jeweler's facebook page:

Thank you to everyone for sending your thoughts and prayers. It gives us strength. Our staff is doing well. We are still assessing the damage from the storm but we are pleased that no one from Majesty Jewelers was injured. Again we thank you for your messages of love and support during this time. We will let you know more in the coming weeks as we work to rebuild not just in St. Maarten but in all of the affected areas. Thank you!

Has anyone heard from Anil at Jewels & Linens in Maho shopping village?
We have been very concerned about their well being and family on the island.
Also Oro Diamante in Phillipsburg? Anyone heard from Raju and his family?
Our thoughts and prayers are with them as well as all the wonderful people of SXM.
