Flights- Jetblue- great each way with the return an extra surprise as we flew home with Dave Barger CEO of Jetblue- free drinks <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" /> Vacation pkg giveaway- didn't win <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> and a 45 minute early arrival into JFK <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />
Accomodations- Divi Little Bay- nice studio on the top floor with an amazing view. Very comfortable, no complaints except one day no water- water main break- oh well carribean shower- staff was awesome.
Beaches- this trip our favorite was Plum Bay- just perfect, no crowds- maybe 8-10 people, little wind and gentle surf.
Mullet- always great some big waves but makes for good entertainment.
Orient- short stop WAY too windy.
Little Bay Beach- really really nice, much more so then when there last Feb- the water was calm and a beautiful blue that it lacked last time.
Food-RIBS- ok we did Dinghy Dock- TWICE, Marks & Rosies Dinghy wins hands down for us for the best ribs on the Island, Marks second and Rosies trailing in third- first time for Rosies and honestly thought they were pretty dry- maybe on off day.
Pizza- Drive In Pizza- Sandy Ground, Driftwood- Maho & Le Belle Epogue- Marigot all excellant however we both think Le Belle Epogue is about as good as it could get- Garlic Shrimp Pizza is Sooooo Good!
Other Eats- Bakery Orleans always great, Zee Best 1st time and not the last great Crepes, French Toast Mimosas, nice way to start the day.
Antoinnes- Philipsburg, nice dinner with excellant service both dishes very good, red snapper filet over linguini garlic butter pesto sauce and shrimp scampi- however next time will be getting the Lobster Thermidore looked truly amazing. Also had a wonderfully sinful dessert that made the bikini fit a little tighter.
Piazza Pascal- all dishes outstanding and service was beyond wonderful and very personal a very nice night.
Grocery- Grand Marche for most supplies- good selection & reasonable prices.
US Market- love this place, many evening spent on the balcony with a bottle of Rose, French cheeses, meats & baguette watching the sunset, perfect way to end the day.
Crime- did not see any- did however sacrifice our cooler in Marigot while at lunch- had two really nice beach chairs & an umbrella in the trunk that we really did not want to disappear- so we left the cooler in there thinking they would take a bag first and they did- so a salami & cheese Baguettes a couple Caribs went to feed a local thief- Enjoy!
Two full week- our longest trip yet and still seemed too short- March Cannot come soon enough <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />
