What I wonder though is whether or not these conditions are intended to be temporary or permanent. If there an end date of say one year from now after which these conditions would be lifted, then I see no good reason why they shouldn't be agreed to.

If it is about accountability for money in government, that is LONG overdue in my book. As far as border control, again, I'm not sure what it proposed. Do the Dutch actually want the borders to be closed between Dutch and French side? Carol Hill
