Ocean Club T/S Owners -- have you received anything from OC saying they are closing permanently? If so, can you PM me the text? Their FB site says "Closed Permanently" and emails I've sent to them got blurry answers. Hopefully they are not closing permanently, though I know they had a lot of damage.

I am not an owner, but was on the island during the storm and from what I saw of the place, it's a goner. Like the Summit, an older complex not built for the kind of winds that came. It truly looks as if bombs had been dropped on the whole place. I can't even start to imagine the amount of money it would take to rebuild.

Tom and Majorie of the OC grill says this....

"Don, everything is still up in the air. The last we heard was that they weren't sure what they were going to do and if they do rebuild it will take at least 3 years. They haven't told the employees anything yet.

Our hope is to be able to find another place to reopen the Green Monkey at least until OC is rebuilt. I am hoping to be able to travel down there in early Dec and see what we can do. Not sure if there are places left standing that we can open a restaurant at and the realtor friend we have has not gotten back to us.

I will keep you updated as I find out more."

Also, another member said that they received a letter stating that the future was uncertain and that the 2018 maintenance fees are not being charged...any already received will be refunded.
