jimisue said: What is the weather like in December. Hoping for 80's. Need some rental car advise and are there any nice grocery stores. Planning on staying in the 7 mile beach area. Any info appreciated. We've stayed on the sister island Cayman Brac for a month during January 4 times and the average daytime highs are mid 80's and lows in the low 70's. SandyC: Yea, Im sure. My wife and I have been going to GC in December for 10 years. Obviously temps vary year to year (and I dont go out of my way to see what temp it really is) but mid 70's with a stiff breeze is a pretty good guess at night. Will you need a sweater? Who knows, but we like one, especially if we are laying out in a hammock at night.
