I'm looking for a really good but not time consuming dessert to take to a cookout. Will need to be ok to sit outside for approx 30 mins. Thanks in advance.

Try Contessa's Apricot Rum Cake It's excellent and very easy to make!

katherine hepburn's brownies are my usual go to recipe for an easy dessert that virtually everyone loves. i omit the walnuts. pretty simple and great for cookouts.

For a party, I leave out the nuts in all recipes. Many are allergic.

If it's just me (and family) the walnuts are IN!

This one has been so popular on my blog. The Cupcakes could be at room temperature for about 2 hours without any issue, that's what I did at our last BBQ!
