If you were planning a trip for you 35th anniversary which island would you recommend?
We honeymooned on Paradise Island but have since preferred the quieter life -- Jost Van Dyke, Tortola, east End of St. John. Not sure what is in good shape after this past year's hurricane season. Trying to plan a trip for sometime between the month of May, 2018 through September, 2018. I would really appreciate any input. We enjoy staying on the beach or within walking distance.

Consider Anguilla, it has 33 beautiful beaches, and many wonderful restaurants. There is a price point for everyone, including on the beach. If you are looking for self catering consider Shoal Bay Villas, Carimar or Blue Waters. For a wonderful boutique resort with 19 rooms, take a look at Frangipani, it is on a great stretch of beach, wonderful hands on owners, many amenities including a gym and spa, water sports, managers cocktail party and boat trips. It would be my pick, casual pampering and a perfect memory for your 35th.

Ellen has a wonderful recommendation Anguilla is a very special place and we LOVED Anguilla
However... If you are up for an adventure it and look at Malta We really enjoyed the west end. Pretty special place, but not in the Caribbean
