Has anyone ever stayed there? They said near Pelican Key. Also, is that a safe area. Any help is appreciated.

Coral Shores is down past LaVista, individual condos on a rocky area . As far as I know, the units are all individually owned, so they vary widely. As far as safety, I would think it would be as safe as most anywhere.

I don't know anything about the villas, but my family and I stay in Pelican Key all the time. It's a nice residential area and we have never had any problems or concerns with safety. It is a little hilly, but very easy to walk to places like Buccaneer Beach Bar and a little store called Peli Deli.

Coral Shores villas are in the Pelican Key area, a residential area that has always seemed safe. Coral Shores units are owned by individuals so the units inside are very different. Buildings are arranged in groups with several units attached to each other. Most of the units face the ocean with fantastic views of ships and waves and a cool breeze all of the time. The pool is located in the heart of the project . Large rocks line the edge of the property limiting access to the water except from a pier near the pool. I stayed there for several visits about 10 years ago so I don't know how the grounds and buildings look now but when I was last there the gardens were lovely. Parking is near each unit.

I have stayed at Coral Shores in the 1990's many times and always enjoyed staying there. They hav a very nice pool area which was redone 2 years ago. Hurricane IRMA did not cause damage to the pool but did cause a lot of roof damage to the individual condos. We have several friends who own there and are in the process of getting their places repaired. There are 26 units spread out surrounded by gardens . Nice place when fully restored..
