We used http://www.rentautomax.com/en/ the last two trips. Their cars are at the airport. We met them outside and were in our car in no time. Drop off is also at the airport. They are still in business. I think they are average priced--you might find less expensive or more expensive. Definitely reliable.

To be clear, all car rental folks meet you at the airport. The vast majority of them have either a van, or the car you will be renting, at the airport, and they transport you a short distance to their office to sign the paperwork. On the return, most have you come by their office and pick them up, and they drive you to the airport in the car and then drop you and your luggage off. Basically all the rental places are very close to the airport, so it's not a big time difference regardless.

I have used Leisure Car Rental for the last several trips. They pick me up at the airport in the car I will be renting, take me to their office (about sixty seconds away), I sign the paperwork and am on my way. When returning the car, I drop by their office and they drive me to the airport. I have found their prices to be very competitive. After the third rental, they start offering a deep discount. I'll be using them again in June (assuming Divi is open by then).

Hi, our approach has to take a cab to our vaca rental and have AAA [or your choice] drop the car the next day at an agreed time. Your choice to either drive the car back or again our approach is to have AAA pick up the car and the next day we cab back to the airport For a cab we use Wilfred Brooks - after a day of traveling, to SXM, nice to not have to worry about the drive, like to catch up with Wilfred and he'll stop along the way if requested. Same on the way back, this last winter we did our Rhum & Marigot market shopping on the way back to the airport with Wilfred , that saved us a beach day!
Regardless, enjoy J&B
