Departing Rodney Bay 8 am, any recommendations on meeting folks arriving UVF at 4 pm (i.e. Soufriere vs. Vieux Fort)? Also, would C&I at UVF give these arriving passengers a departure stamp if we were leaving for St. Vincent the next morning or would captain have to take all passports to C&I for all on board?
Thanks,
Fred

Fred, Soufriere will put you closer to the main nature sites on the island. You can walk to the Botanical Gardens and Hummingbird Beach, which has good snorkeling right from shore. You can also take the Fond St. Jacques bus to Jerusalem Falls, which is really more of a natural hot spring bath than an actual falls or get a taxi to the volcano and mud baths. Some good local restaurants there; Skippers (good wifi), The Big Yard, Whispers, and the Petit View Creole Restaurant. If you go into town at night, use the dock near customs, security is better there than at the one by the Hummingbird. I can give you more info when I see you in Rodney Bay.
Can't help you with your C&I question, as my only experience is waiting in the bar for Em to come back with the paperwork completed.

Thanks Sammy. This airport pickup will take place on the way down toward St. Vincent on March 29th where we plan to meet up with you and Skyelark as you make your way north. I'm going to head down a few days early and am booked at your hotel recommendation in Gros Islet.

I don't think we'll be in St. Lucia on the 29th, at least I hope not, the charter doesn't start till the 25th and goes till the 8th. I was figuring we'd clear into Soufriere on the 5th or so then sail up to Rodney Bay on the 6th. Haven't gotten an itinerary from Dan yet but hoping to spend 2 days on Carriacou, overnight at PSV with a side trip to PM, a day at Union, overnight in the Cays, couple days on Bequia and two nights at Cumberland Bay to allow the crew to hike the volcano, and a couple stops in between.
