Hello! First timer here and our first cruise coming in April.
We have a good family friend who travels to JVD every year so we are really interested in checking it out when we come.
This is our first time, so we really aren't sure what we are doing.
Realistically, can we port in Tortola, get the ferry to JVD to check out Soggy Dollar and return in enough time?
We port around 7am and leave at 3pm. We would like to be back to the cruise ship by 1pm just to be safe.

Honestly, in that short amount of time, if you MUST go to Jost, you really should do a cruise ship excursion, as that's really pushing it, to do on your own, as first timer.

You would likely have to hire a private boat to get you to JVD and back in that amount of time. I think the Soggy opens at 8am but someone correct me if I am wrong. I think you could do it if you hired a private boat....but it would likely not be cheap.....
