Hmm: "On tourism, he said a five star 200-room hotel for La Belle Creole and a prestigious international brand hotel for Happy Bay are still in the cards, as well as development of upscale cruise tourism and intensive marketing to invite tourists to rediscover St. Martin."
Not good news.

Not at all. There are other already (previously) built up beaches that could use a new hotel....leave SOMETHING unspoiled.

Yes we just discovered Happy Bay last visit and loved that it was so private except for the occasional annoying party boat
