Just got a call from diamond. No MF this year and no special assessment. They are refunding the MF I prepaid to my cc. They don't know if there will be any for 2019 as they might be able to open January 2019 if construction that they already started goes as planned. If they can open for 2019 I'll gladly pay.

Business interruption insurance, is what it's called. I suspect Diamond isn't the only one that might have it.

Our reserve covered the deductible. Insurance the rest. Was surprised but happy.

I keep hearing 2020 (just got off the phone with them) sure hope you are right on 2019.

2020 is what they are saying to be on the safe side. They are hoping for earlier than that. I'll take what I can get.

Sounds as if they care about you as a TS owner, and are doing good business. One can only hope that others follow suit. As I just posted in another thread, I'm unwilling to pay 2018 fees if they cannot be used.

Our MFs are on the higher side but some goes to a reserve fund for situations like this. Glad they have that reserve.
