Collectivite de Saint-Martin
By order of the president, the community of Saint-Martin once again allows bathing on the following beaches:
Grand Case, Petite Plage, Friar's Bay, Galisbay, Anse Marcel, Grande Caye Nord, Grande Caye Sud, Baie Orientale Nord, Baie Orientale Sud, Baie de l'Embouchure Nord et Sud, Baie Longue, Baie aux Prunes, Baie Rouge. Lifting of bathing bans on community beaches
This authorization takes place after the bathing water analysis report has been submitted by the regional health agency (ARS).

Not for nothing, but there are no beach restaurants, no bathrooms and I would be leery sunbathing without the Gendarmerie on Orient beach. Before you had the beach waiters keeping an eye out for those less honorable as well.
Sand Gravity, got to love it!

The water may be clean, but on Grand Case Beach there is still a lot of debris in the water. As for Orient, there are few people there, it's been perfectly safe.
