We usually stay at the Simpson Bay resort but this time we are planning to stay at La Vista, the lower units down towards the water. Is there a sort cut up from the lower La Vista units or do you have to walk up and around the road?

Does it take you up the stairs right below the Peli Deli?

Does it take you up the stairs right below the Peli Deli? If you stay on the main road it takes you as you described. There is also a small side road as Canuck54 described that takes you to the opposite side of the casino. It is not at all hard to walk or find. There is usually more foot and auto traffic the way GaKaye described and better lighting. The opposite way is not well lighted and narrow.
