My 1st ever trip report.................

What a time we had with all our friends at the catfight, thanks all for making it so memorable, especially my painkiller coozys??

Left Jost on the noon ferry arriving at Sopers 20mins later. Monica still no idea what was happening. Secretly got a taxi to collect us from Pussers after lunch. I was grilled right through the meal, but wouldn’t give. The taxi came and about ½ way to Beef , I decided to spill the beans. “I am taking you for 2 days away for a birthday surprise to Guana Island”, God I love you she said, then more or less in the same breath, Oh God she said the evening meal dress you picked for me just isn’t right, too tight and too short <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />!!!! Fortunatly I had bought a spare bottle of Pinot so by the time we got in the back of the Guana Island boat the issue of dress didn’t matter anymore…phew

We were met at the dock and escorted up the hill to our villa. It was beautiful, everything I had imagined and more. We have stayed at Necker quite a few times and is defiantly up there with that luxury. We were told there are some magnificent trails on the island “have you brought hiking boots” they looked at my bare feet and said perhaps you would prefer a beach chair, they were right, all we wanted was to lime.
From then on in I couldn’t do anything wrong, Monzi and I had met each other for the 1st time again. The 2 days went so fast and would have done anything to sabotage the boat taking us back to Beef, but as they say good things always come to end
