Does anyone know the condition of the beach at this time? Also, are either bars open (Raymonds or Gus)?

We were there today. Kinda a quiet day on the beach with maybe 20-25 people.
My wife and I were the only ones CO when we were there this afternoon.
The beach looks the same as before Irma. Rocks showing in places but still a nice place to spend the day.
Raymond was open for business.

There was a post on Facebook that I can't copy as it is a closed group that stated there was a lot of metal roofing and other sharp objects you could see in the sand and surf. Advising people to be very cautious and wear protective shoes.
