From the opposite end of the beach at Mont Vernon, we can see that something is on fire. The fire truck has arrived. More news in the morning.

Supposedly there was some burning of storm debris. Hopefully that is all it is.

The fire is at night, 8 pm. Daylight has refuse burning. A small rainstorm just came through.

Trackhoe was gathering debris behind the chalet area. The burning is there

Hopefully that is the case as I don't think fires distinguish between night and day and with as much debris as they have, it is likely a big fire that will not be extinguished at night.
