We're trying to put together a last minute trip (late April). Thinking of just hanging out on anegada for a week. Anyone stayed at the Anegada Beach Club tents? Their website says they're up and running and rebuilt from the hurricane. Anywhere else we should look? Thanks!

Cow Wreck Beach rents out two or three beach front cottages/homes. Not sure of the availability but the ocean view is awesome.

We stayed at the Anegada Reef Hotel. Nice place, nice people. Convenient to all beaches.

Mal - great info! Thank you. Do you have a link to his website?
First problem appears to be getting to Anegada on Delta ....

Walter's "Hidden Treasure" appeared to have come through pretty well with some cracks near the roof when we were there last month. The rest of Belle's cottages were severely damaged.

I know Neptune's Treasure has a room available, since we just had to cancel our trip in April.

BTW, I found out about Anegada Express on Walker's website. It's a new small ferry that runs twice/day and 7 days/wk (!) from Trellis Bay, but reservations are required. The afternoon departure of 3:30 is ideal for people flying in, and for anyone who can't coordinate with the regular ferry's MWF schedule.

bvipirate.com. Walker's site has every bit of info you could want about the island. His house is called "Hidden Treasure" (and indeed it is). It is by far the nicest of the three cottages..Belle may handle rentals but I would personally as for their place..

The Anegada Beach Club tents have indeed been rebuilt and are even better than before. The footprint is the same but they now have a high pitched roof so they feel much more open, plus the views are fantastic. The restaurant and pool are open, and the beach cabanas have been rebuilt.

Getting to Anegada with Delta is easy via or from Atlanta, early morning flight gets into San Juan in time for the Seaborne flight into Beef Island which you think is too late to connect to VI Airlink 5pm flight, but they wait for you, I know this from first hand experience.

Thanks everyone for all the great info. Unfortunately from where we live, it would take 2 overnight stays each way and we don't have the extra time this year. Sleepychef, sadly we can't get to Atlanta before the Delta flight departs.
Someday though .......
Since we only have 5-6 days this trip we're going to give the Abacos a try!
