On Thursday, March 21, 1996, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for CHART KIT BBA by Better Boating Association, Inc., Rockland 02370. The USPTO has given the CHART KIT BBA trademark serial number of 75076540. The current federal status of this trademark filing is CONTINUED USE NOT FILED WITHIN GRACE PERIOD, UN-REVIVABLE. 02/07/2004 (Trademark expired) Bottom line is that in 1997, after some ugly legal business, what was once BBA was sold to Maptech Inc.
