We normally fly into STT and take the ferry to Tortola but this time we are flying to SJU and then Seaborne to Beef Island. Usually we hit the duty free store in STT to pick up a few bargain bottles of liquor and hand carry them onto the ferry. As we have a layover in SJU, is it worth it to hit the duty free for liquor? How do you get it from there onto the plane? Thanks.

The prices are as low there as I have seen, but I haven’t tried to clear BVI customs at Beef with liquor. Somebody help!
