We will be there on June 16 for a sleep aboard and start our charter on the 17th. What is the current state of facilities right now - restrooms and showers, power at the docks, etc.? At the Miami Boat Show in February, a rep told me that they are using a fuel truck to fill the boats. I’m wondering if it is better (easier and cheaper) to fill up somewhere like Nanny Cay. Thanks.

I don't know anything about the facilities at Dream, but we did fuel up at Nanny Cay. If I remember correctly it was $4.25 per gallon, this was last month.

In Jan 2018 (crew of 10) the marina had much destruction and Dream yachts was using one of two docks that were in shape to use.

Water- working
shore-power -no - all sleep aboard were using generators
bath/shower - using Cat Co's one shared bath/shower - power and water was only when Cat Co employees were present
store/restaurant- not in closing walking distance - luckily we had provisions delivered
no ice - paid cab driver to go get some
fuel- used truck and there was a very minimal charge due to the circumstances
DYC- crew and staff were great

Please keep in mind this was early Jan 2018 with repair work and salvage was being done in the marina . i would not be discourage with the sleep aboard just make sure your crew can be self -efficient until you cast off

I was just at Dream Yachts last week, group of 41 on three monos and two cats. We slept one night at the docks. All water and electricity ok. At the end we refuelled at the next bay over, maybe East End Bay? Ice was available at Dream Yachts, we had provisioned at Riteway and had it delivered, I know there are toilets available but didn’t notice showers, doesn’t mean there are none, we just didn’t use. Staff was great.
