Had dinner tonight in the village at Sao. Asian restaurant, very good. Owned by the same gentleman that owned Kakoa. Said they would begin rebuilding soon and expected to be open in November . Hope so.

I've heard very good things about it. Le Piment is still waiting for new equipment and they said another 2-3 weeks. We arrive Saturday.

Is Kakoa different than Kakao?

The proper spelling is Kakao. That was a typo in trying to type fast. Lets hope they adhere to their predicted reopen date and we will see them on the beach at the end of the year!!

Nope, BeachKitten. It's the same place. Their color was blue as I recall. Great food. Never had a bad meal there while on the beach. The bar pretty pretty good, also. The guy who sort of managed it was named 'Kel' if my memory does not betray me.
