That would be the Royal Palm which is currently closed and under-going massive repairs due to hurricane Irma damage.

Simpson Bay Resort in far left top corner. Open for business.

Thanks. I'm booked there for Christmas, didn't recognize it from the photo.

If its the one you're referring to in far upper left corner it's Simpson Bay Resort.

Red roofs in the foreground I believe is Port De Plaisance. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If anyone is booked at Royal Palm, they need to reconsider.

I don't understand how anyone could have a confirmed reservation at RP for this December.

I was wondering myself about the red roofs.

I believe the red roofs are the resort that has been ''under renovation'' for the last ten years or so.

OK, the orientation of that picture is different, but I THINK all it shows in that area is Zee Best. If so, that means it's the Simpson Bay Yacht Club?

The Red Roofs are Port De Plaisance (sp?). to the left of Royal Palm is Kim Sha where the new place is being built. Building in front of that with two white roofs is Skipjacks. Building center left is IGY marina, home of Fat Turtle.

Simpson Bay Resort is not in the picture

Thank you. I did not think SBR was in the picture either, at least not the view I was able to see.

Carol, Isn't there a ZeeBest at Port De Plaisance? I thought there was one the last time we were there (pre Irma).

OK, thanks re PDP. I wasn't sure Simpson Bay Resort was in the picture either, as it seemed too far out to be there.

Simpson Bay Resort is in the original webcam screen on the site.

Ok, I am confused. Are wee talking about the ORIGINAL screenshot in this particular post or a picture you personally saw on the webcam that is not posted here?

Unless you are seeing a different picture that what I am seeing in this post, SBR is NOT in sight.

Not the one posted. I was referring to the actual webcam site on line. Sorry about the confusion. To much island rum and sun.

Thanks. Very well. Drove to Pinel ferry dock. Weather didn't look the greatest so back in Simpson Bay. Great skies here. Will try Pinel again tomorrow.
