After our BVI based sailing trip in July, our son is booked to spend a few days on St. John. He will most likely accompany us to the St. Thomas airport since he will be meeting someone to join him for the days on St. John. They'll then catch a ferry to St. John and head to the condo.

He'll be hauling his luggage from the sailing part of the trip throughout all of this since I don't see him making an intermediate stop on St. John before heading out to the airport.

My questions are how to best arrange all of this. Would someone like Kevin Campbell be able to meet us at the Charlotte Amalie ferry, take us to the airport, hold on to his luggage until his friend arrives, then get all of them over to a ferry to St. John? Are there ferries from Charlotte Amalie to St. John or does that require a trip to Red Hook?

Looks like one daily ferry from Crown Bay and hourly ferries from Redhook.
