Biggest surprise YVETTES has new menu higher prices but still worth it.
Biggest disappointment was IZI in Simpson Bay Lasagna tasted like it was made with condensed tomato soup& cream cheese.
Best meal: LESTIMENET. Chatted with Claudette at next table. She's events coordinator at Radisson Anse Marcel. She says she thinks LEstimenet is the best too. Told her we like YVETTES too and she said she had worked o their cook book.
Next Best: La Ville Gr Case. Chatted with Christoph who used to be at L'Auberge about all the restaurants we loved that had since closed.
Best new find was LAGOONIES 33 Wellington Rd. Overlooks the Lagoon opposite from LaSucrerie. Had 2 orders of Grouper with ginger, salad, fries and 4 Presidentes $36.
Utilized the Previlige Card with friends Brenda & Ron from RI first week and Judy & George from CT. 2nd week. Had good meals at Greenhouse, Chesterfield's, Kangaroo Court, Marigot marina, Le Main et Le Pate, La Ville, La Belle Epoch, Rosemary's in Marigot. Sunset Cafe at GCBC. Mama Pizza Oyster Pond, Soleil in Grand Case, Enold's, AuGrain de Sel. And some meals in condo or on lanai from roti chicken from Fresh Market and fruits and salads.
Finally met someone fro TTOL: Sandflip.
Rest of trip was same as usual beach, pool, eat drink, beach pool etc repeat. These past 3 weeks we found sand gravity---or should I say it found us. All we'd planned didn't happen so onto plans for next trip go the boat ride, the trip to Pinel, the restaurants we didn't get to try.
