This is my first attempt at a trip report.

We started our day at 3:00am. Not because we had to but because I couldn't sleep. I went down stairs to make coffee. My 11 and 14 year olds we two minutes behind me. They both were waiting for us to get up. My wife followed moments later. At 5:15 our ride arrived and we were loaded on on the road for Boston by 5:30.

Checked our bags at curbside check in at Logan. Breezed through security and boarded the plane. We chose to sit in row 24 of 25 thinking we would be off the plane first when they bring the steps up to the back of the plane. I love it when a plan comes together. We were on the bus and took the 30 second ride to the terminal. The four us breezed through immigration and headed for the luggage claim. When we got there 4 of the first 5 bags were ours and they were already out What luck. Headed outside and Lesley was waiting for us. The kids told us we were pretty good at this stuff as we off the plane and on the way to Sharon's for our cell phone in 20 minutes. New record for us...

Got our phone from Sharon and headed to the Villa. We brought in the luggage and got the place settled. Soon after arrival Jeannie was at the door with our delivery. I know the deliveries are usually done before you arrive but we had a nice visit with Jeannie on our last trip in December so we let her know she could hold off until we arrived so we could chat for a while. We talked for a few minutes but she has been very busy and needed to get to the next deliver. I offered my sons as delivery assistants as she looks to need some help this week.

We headed down to Mr Busby's for an afternoon drink on the beach. From there we went back to the villa to get cleaned up for dinner. We tried Capt Oliver's, but it was rented out to a private buffet for the Regatta. On to Danny's by the Sea, they where busy too and said we would have to wait a while to get served. Knowing the kids were growing tired we headed to the Westin. We sat outside at the Ocean Restuarant. It was very nice to be outside. I had the blackened Grouper, my older son had the shrimp and scallops, my youngest the cheeseburger, big surprise. My wife had the chicken bean soup. The food was great and we headed back to the villa for showers and bed.

We just got up to watch an amazing sunrise, now off to Mr Busby's for some Johnny Cakes. Looks like day 2 is off to a great start.
