Short trip report from an unregistered. I do get a lot of good info from this web site and this will be short. My wife and I recently came back from 2 weeks at SXM. Weather 1st week very good but a little windy 2nd week was exceptional. It rained 1 time for 5 minutes. Favorite restaurants Pizza Pascal--Donna is a great hostess I had a minor problem she fixed it and I didn't want her too. Food always excellent and 1 for 1. LaPiment in the Village is alwyas our first stop. Crystal always has great specials and the food is terrific.
Club O got a number of new chairs which were needed. Traffic was not terrible but isn't great. Saw the French police more than all other visits combined in just the first week. They were pulling people over in the roundabout by US Market going to Grand Case. The noseeums were bad I got eaten alive. I even used OFF with 92% deet. Found Bug Off that helped. Rented a car from Budget but never again. They sent it out with low tire pressure and the Battery died 2 hours before we were to go home. But I had found jumper cables where we were staying and a person staying there Jumped me twice to get the car back. You would think they would compensate me for helping them get there car back. Nothing so thanks to Info from here I plan on using Michael from Unity next year. Budget will also get a nice note from me. Always a great time.
