Daily Herald story

Interesting, they say that the casino will open soon, and there will be two new restaurants there.

I drive by there every day and see progress each time I drive by. The Casino has many workmen there each day and I believe it will open in early fall.

Interesting...
"Johnson said he recognised that the cost of flights had increased by up to 50 per cent in some cases and his ministry was committed to seeing this cost lowered in the interest of revitalising the economy."

Not in our case. We booked flights for slightly less than we did for this last Mays trip for next May.

Yeah Scuba...but you are that "year in advance" dude! wink

We want to go in October and are having a very hard time justifying the cost....which is why we aren't there right now too.

Scuba may have gotten in with his ticket purchase just before the latest round of fare increases just last week. We were watching a fare for an AA flight for April that went up $300.00 overnight per person on a ONE Way flight. I couldn't believe it......

Nope. Just checked my flights going to SXM arriving May 11 and the price didn't change.

Hmmmm! Maybe because the flights I'm looking at are for Easter holiday travel? Still showing that $300.00 increase pp one way. I was watching the fare thinking it was high at $630. and hoping for it to go down and not up!

I will be able to book my outbound flight for next June in two days. Two routes are available first class for under $600 one way, but most coach fares are over $1,200, and most first class are $1,300-$1,600+ one way. Ridiculous!

If your looking at AA flights wait a day or two after you can book for your dates. They will come down and more routes will be available.
