FIRST NIGHT! We arrived on time New Year's Eve to a downpour. Picked up our car from Leslie with the phone and we were off. To Orient the back way with little traffic and arrived at Paradise villa right as Bruno pulled in. Perfect! We are in a neighborhood which has a homey feel. Dogs, cats, and children are all around us which is nice. It rained hard for several hrs. and Jeannie was behind with the grocery delivery. I felt so sorry for her with the weather and the holiday but everything worked out hope she got a little rest on the 1st! We were so tired that the only option for us for dinner was the village so we ate at Le Piment and shared a pasta dish and their white pizza. Yummy! With 2 glasses of wine each the cost was around $ 60.00. Never quite get used to the exchange. Slept like babies and spent our first day at Kakao's. Very windy with rough surf but we stayed anyway. Walked up and down the beach and pretty crowded both ways. All day in the sun and we were exhausted..does that make sense? We just picked up a pizza and crashed. So, so glad to be back!
