Time for our yearly vacation to BVI's, we started out good with business seats from Stockholm to Newark (paid for an upgrade via Optiontown). Stayed at Marriot Newark and I can recommend this airport hotel. Close, clean, quiet, comfy beds and good food (a bit pricey if you compare to some other airport hotels, but we think it's worth it).

United nonstop to STT the day after, was fast (3:12) and smooth, until the last 2 minutes, when it was REALLY bumpy. It was very windy with high swells and two boat rides to Virgin Gorda confirmed that. No problems though for us.

It felt good to be back on Virgin Gorda and Guavaberry. The first days there were high swells, but after a couple of days it was much calmer.

We did some "firsts" this time, like visiting Hog Heaven restaurant. What a gorgeous view from up there:

Spring Bay, Mountain trunk bay and Devils bay were as beautiful as ever:

Had a great snorkel at Mahoe Bay with Joan and Mario (including lunch and spending time at their villa. Thank you, it was lovely). We found a beautiful green turtle:

I have just lots of positive things to say about Dive BVI and it was as always great this time too. We did one daytrip to Jost, including snorkelstop at Spyglass wall and the Indians. Lunch at WillyT, which was very good. I also went scubadiving with them two days and dove at Diamond reef and The Chimneys for instance. Here are some pictures from my dives:

After a lunch at Saba Rock, we saw a rainbow, so we drove up to Hog Heaven to get a better view and it was just stunning:

The weather was really good all the time and Guavaberry was as great as always. It's a true pleasure to spending time there and there is no place I know, when you can get so relaxed.

Met a lot of old and new friends and we can't wait to go back again next year.
