StoryWhile we were on island, I kept going by this wrecked boat and wondered what it was. Anyone know?

Think it was the boat that was moored beside Boca Marina last couple of years before Irma.

My wife calls it the "Pirate" boat everytime we go past it.

Yes it looks exactly like a pirate ship. I have a pic of it somewhere.
Very much like Pirates of the Caribbean boat.

Hopefully the picture was in happier days... I just wondered what it was used for, before the hurricane.

It was being remodeled to look like a pirate ship. It's a heavy steel hull that they decked out in fancy woodwork. They were just about finished when Irma hit. I understand it's been abandoned.

Don't know, never went to Boca in probably 5 years. It was red.

We wondered the same thing every time we passed by it last month. Looked just like a deserted pirate ship.
