Hello,
Any updates on my all-time favourite place? Last I read was all floors except the first were re-opened on March 18. Balcony sliding doors and balcony railings were apparently replaced.
Freshly returned guests on some travel/hotel sites reported mold infestations. The beach was reported as "reorganized" by Irma.
Pictures usually tell thousand words... yet the hotel's webpage only show 2013 shots... does anyone have recent pix to share?
Interested in the latest news... other than here, where else could I read about the improvements at Belair and island-wide?
Thanks and God bless!

Just returned from Week28 at Belair. The property is in remarkably good shape courtesy of the Belair staff. Only a handful of first floor units remain closed to complete renovation. Work continues quietly and without impact on guests. The beachfront is in great shape as well. All in all Belair has fared far better than most other properties.

I visited Belair and my good friend Evans in early April. I thought it was amazing considering all the damage Irma caused. I saw the restaurant and pool area and the front desk. All were very welcoming and well maintained. Belair looked beautiful!

There is a website on Facebook titled "Friends of Belair" that has lots of current pictures of the Belair. Irma damage was substantial but compared to most other resorts the Belair fared pretty well. We are told that their website will get improvements soon so that we all can get more frequent updates. We look forward to returning in December. Last year was the first we missed in over 30+ years.
