I know Bikini has reopened. What about the rest of the beach bars? Any timeline?

LaPlaya is supposed to open around December 1. I believe Kakao and Kontiki are also supposed to open before the end of this year around November, I think. I do not recall hearing anything about any of the others.

I received an email from Orange Fever last week that said "see you in November". I am assuming they are rebuilding on Orient Beach but do not know that for a fact.

Le String and Chez Leandra closed at the direction of the government. They were told that the government was going to clean up that section of beach, including the concrete slabs they were using. Lionel of Le String had said that he thought they would reopen in November. Talked to Zelman at Chez Leandra and he said they were ok with it because they didn't have to clean it up and it's the slow season. They will hopefully be up and running in December.
